Pakistan started 5G services in March 2026 after a $507 million spectrum auction. How 5G Speed Is Performing Right Now

The spectrum for faster speeds is already available, but it will take some time before everything is fully set up and working properly. Some users have reported little improvement in their internet speed so far. Authorities say that even 4G speeds will improve to around 20 Mbps as the network is upgraded.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has said that stable 5G services across the country may take about two years.
