The announcement was made by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who stated that the scheme is especially for low-income families across the province. The program targets registered vehicle owners and ensures that financial support reaches those who need it most.

Eligibility Criteria for the Program

To apply, the motorcycle or scooter must be registered in the applicant’s name. Vehicles under another person’s name are not eligible.

If the ownership was recently transferred, the process must be fully completed, including verification signed by both the seller and the buyer. If any information is missing, wrong, or the ownership details are not complete, your application can be rejected.

How to Apply

You can apply for the Ehsaas Fuel Support Program using the Dastak App on your phone. It is available in the Play Store and App Store. Follow these steps:

Download the Dastak App on your phone.

  1. Make a new account in the app.
  2. Enter your bike or scooter details, like registration number and chassis number.
  3. Pick your district from the list.
  4. Fill in your personal details: name, father’s name, CNIC, mobile number, and full address.
  5. Upload your documents: CNIC (front and back), vehicle registration book or smart card, and a clear photo of your bike or scooter.
  6. If the vehicle was bought from someone else, upload the ownership transfer paper signed by both the seller and buyer.
  7. Submit your application. It will be checked by e-Sahulat and then by the Excise and Taxation Office.

Verification Process and Approval

After you send your application, e-Sahulat will check your details. Then, the Excise and Taxation Office will make sure the bike or scooter belongs to you and all your documents are correct.

You will get a notification once the verification is done. If any information is missing, wrong, or the ownership transfer is incomplete, your application will be rejected, and you will be told why.

To get the fuel support, you need to give some important papers. These help the government make sure the money goes to the right person and stop anyone from misusing it. Here’s what you need:

  • CNIC (front and back): This proves your identity. Both sides of your CNIC must be clear so officials can verify who you are.
  • Vehicle registration book or smart card: This shows that the motorcycle or scooter is officially registered and belongs to you.
  • Clear photograph of your motorcycle or scooter: A photo helps confirm the vehicle actually exists and matches the registration details.
  • Ownership transfer verification (if applicable): If you bought the vehicle from someone else, both the buyer and seller must sign a transfer verification. This proves the vehicle is now legally yours.

Submitting these documents ensures the Rs2,000 monthly fuel support reaches the real owner. It also prevents people from taking advantage of the program.

The Rs2,000 monthly subsidy helps motorbike and scooter owners pay for fuel, especially when prices are high.
